The little seeds have that warm, licorice-like kick that really comes through in my spiced tea—just a pinch and the whole cup smells like a bakery. I've been sprinkling them over buttered toast too, and it's become my favorite afternoon snack.

I tossed a teaspoon into my cookie dough and the subtle licorice warmth came through perfectly, not at all bitter. The whole seeds are clean and uniform, which made grinding them for a quick spiced tea a breeze.

The little seeds look fresh and smell wonderfully of licorice the moment you open the bag. I've been tossing them into cookies and the flavor comes through nicely, not too bitter.
