Don't get any of our flavored oils confused with "infused" oils. Infusion implies the application of heat or a chemical process to add a flavor to oil. Our flavored oils--including this Jalapeño version--are true cold-press oils. Mission olives are sent through the press with fresh, lively jalapeños for a truly delicious experience. The seeds and membranes are removed from the peppers. This yields the flavor of the fruit of the jalapeños without the heat.
This mildly spicy oil is perfect on roasted meats and vegetables. Saute your ground beef or chicken in this oil for taco night. Add it to grilled peppers and onions and serve alongside a flank steak.
