Berbere is often referred to as "Ethiopian Chicken Rub", but is a great seasoning for beef and pork as well. It's the perfect combination of aromatics and spice that bring an exotic flavor to the table.

Use our Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Berbere to create a paste to rub on meats. Allow the meat to marinade for at least 45 minutes, then grill.

Ingredients: Paprika, Sea Salt, Cayenne, Fenugreek, Coriander, Cumin, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Cloves, Ginger, Turmeric

Olivia Z. ★★★★★

The aroma hits you the moment you open the bag—warm, smoky, and a little sweet. I tossed it with cubed beef for a stew, and the depth it added was incredible without being overpowering. Definitely my new go-to for weeknight dinners.

Emma ★★★★★

I used this as a dry rub on pork chops last night and it brought such a warm, exotic heat without being overwhelming. The mix of aromatics and spice really shines through.

Adam ★★★★★

That smoky, aromatic kick from the berbere turned my usual beef stew into something entirely different—warm heat that builds without overpowering. I’ve already used it on pork chops twice this week, and the blend clings to the meat beautifully. Definitely a new staple in my spice drawer.
