I was skeptical about a sweet rub with garlic and onion, but the pecan smoke really balances it all out. Worked perfectly on pork ribs, giving them a subtle, smoky sweetness without being overpowering.

The garlic and onion base gives this rub a nice savory kick that balances the pecan flavor perfectly. I used it on pork chops last weekend and the whole family asked what my secret was. This one is definitely staying in my regular rotation.

The pecan smoke comes through beautifully on pork, and the garlic-onion base keeps it savory instead of just sweet. I've used it on ribs twice now and the crust it forms is exactly what I hoped for.
