Hiwa Kai 夏威夷黑熔岩海鹽

Sprinkled this on my fried eggs this morning and the pop of black color made the plate look like a chef’s creation. The saltiness is clean and smooth, not harsh at all. Goes great on roasted veggies too.

The silky texture of this black salt is surprisingly fine, almost like dust, and it dissolves instantly on food. A tiny sprinkle over grilled fish gave a perfect, clean ocean taste with a subtle earthy note from the charcoal.

I sprinkled this on a seared steak and the black crystals dissolved instantly while giving a subtle, clean saltiness. The activated charcoal adds a faint earthy note that really complements grilled vegetables.
