Achiote Paste is the key to authentic Mexican dishes like Tacos al Pastor, Longanizas and Cochinita Pibil. Many chorizo recipes call for this paste to give the sausage its authentic color and flavor.

Use 1 ounce Achiote Blend with 1/4 cup vinegar, lime juice or orange juice to create a paste for marinating and flavoring. Want a really fun idea? Use a quarter cup of our Pineapple White Balsamic to take your Achiote paste in a whole new direction.

Ingredients: Annatto, Coriander, Oregano, Cumin, Peppercorns, Cloves, Salt, Paprika

Scarlett ★★★★★

I've been making tacos al pastor at home for months and this paste finally gives the meat that deep, brick-red color and earthy flavor I was chasing. It's thick and easy to rub right onto the pork, and a little goes a long way.

Eli F. ★★★★★

The color it gives my cochinita pibil is exactly that deep rusty red you see in the best taquerias, and it dissolves into the marinade without any gritty lumps. My kitchen smelled incredible for hours after I mixed it with sour orange and garlic.

Thomas W. ★★★★★

The color this paste gives to my tacos al pastor is exactly what I was hoping for, a deep, rich red. It mixes easily and has that authentic, slightly earthy flavor that makes the marinade perfect. Definitely a staple for my Latin cooking now.
