OXO Good Grips Tongs

I needed something sturdy enough for flipping meats on the grill, and these tongs handle the weight easily—the nylon heads haven't scratched my nonstick pan once.

The lock mechanism clicks shut so smoothly that I actually find myself using it more than my old pair, and the nylon heads have held up perfectly on my ceramic pans without a single scratch. The soft handles give just enough grip even when my hands are a little greasy from cooking.

The thumb rests make these way easier to control than my old tongs, and the locking mechanism slides open smoothly. Handled a big batch of stir-fry without slipping at all.
