I rubbed this on some chicken thighs and baked them, and the garlic and brown sugar created a nice sticky glaze. The balsamic vinegar flavor is rich but not overpowering, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner that tastes like I spent more time on it.

The balsamic vinegar and brown sugar caramelize beautifully on grilled chicken, giving it that sticky, tangy-sweet crust you’d expect from a marinade, not a rub. Just one shake before baking and dinner tasted like it had been simmering all day.

I was skeptical about a dry rub delivering that rich balsamic tang, but the brown sugar really balances the garlic and vinegar beautifully. My wife couldn't stop complimenting the grilled chicken, and I'll definitely be trying it on pork chops next.
