The hexagon shape sits flush against my coffee maker, so it actually catches every drip instead of missing half of them. Slate hides the coffee stains way better than the white ceramic tray I used before, and wiping it clean takes one swipe.

My slate round rest has saved my counter from a dozen splattered sauce drips already, and it wipes clean in one pass. Wish I’d grabbed two, honestly, since I keep moving it between the stove and the sink.

The hexagon shape fits perfectly in the corner of my stove, and the slate color hides any sauce splatters. It's a simple thing, but I love that I'm not wiping up drips from the counter after every meal.
